Ontario to Require Proof of Vaccination in Select Settings

Province to launch enhanced vaccine certificate and verification app to stop the spread of COVID-19

As of September 22, 2021, Ontarians will need to be fully vaccinated (two doses plus 14 days) and provide their proof of vaccination along with photo ID to access certain public settings and facilities. This approach focuses on higher-risk indoor public settings where face coverings cannot always be worn and includes:

ALL Facilities used for sports and fitness activities and personal fitness training, such as gyms, fitness and recreational facilities

STAGE THREE RULES

Members will need to be fully vaccinated (two doses plus 14 days) and provide their proof of vaccination to accessthe health cl.ub


1. A COVID-19 self-assessment questionnaire must be completed prior to exercising. These are available in the lobby.

2. No appointments are required to attend the health club.

3. Social distancing rules apply within the club so face masks must be worn except while exercising.

4. Sauna, steam rooms and hot tubs remain closed.

5. Squash court one will be open however the special rules remain in place for court use. Court time must be booked in advance and bookings can be made online as early as Monday July 19th.

6. All fitness equipment will remain spaced 3 metres apart, until there is additional relaxing of the COVID-19 rules.

  • THEN: Sign-in, click on classes , Select your date & time, select Covid Squash Booking, click Enroll Now AND you are booked!
  • You may book your court times 7 days in advance.

  • You will require a 24 hour access pass to enter the health club at all other times
  • All members must sign a COVID-19 Waiver to use the health club

KEEPING EVERYONE HEALTHY

Our goal is to continue providing a great member experience, while adhering to the best practices for public health. To achieve this, we’ve instituted some changes including decreased access to some services and equipment where appropriate.

Entry Procedures

  1. By using the club, you agree to the new STHC Member Etiquette Safety Guidelines outlined below.
  2. Club capacity restrictions may be in effect according to Government regulations at any given time.
  3. Touchless entry is provided by simply scanning the bar code on your key tag
  4. Staff will be available in the club to assist with new procedures and ensure that enhanced safety guidelines are followed
  5. No cash transactions will be permitted. All payment must be by debit card or credit card
  6. Failure to following these important guidelines may result in loss of access to the health club.

Member Etiquette

Please review these important new etiquette safety guidelines, which are posted prominently within the club entrance, designed to keep everyone feeling safe and comfortable.

By checking into the club, you agree to the following:

  1. You do not have any COVID-19 symptoms (including fever, cough or difficulty breathing), have not been in close contact with anyone with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19 and/or have not travelled outside of Canada within the last 14 days
  2. Please sanitize your hands upon entering and wash and sanitize your hands frequently during your visit
  3. Always wipe down all equipment before and after use with disinfectant products
  4. You must wear a non-medical face mask at all times while in the health club except while exercising*
  5. Maintain a 2-meter (6-feet) physical distance in shared spaces at all times
  6. Please obey all signage identifying closed amenities, areas, and out-of-service equipment
  7. In addition, you should bring only the bare essentials into the club and leave everything else at home
  8. Always wipe down Exercise Mats before and after use with disinfectant products
  9. Always wipe down lockers, sinks, showers & other change room amenities before and after use with disinfectant products

In an effort to reopen our doors quickly, some amenities and services will not be available on Friday. We’re continually monitoring developments and reassessing the situation so we can resume providing our full range of offerings as soon as possible.

Please remember our top priority is providing an exceptional member experience while maintaining safe environment.

  2. Small, hard to clean accessories such as boxing gloves, etc.
  3. Water Fountains
  4. Some or all racquet sports

Personal Training

  1. Personal Training Sessions will continue to be booked by your Personal Trainer or at the front desk
  2. There will be no personal contact and physical distancing will be observed
  3. PPE will be worn by Personal Trainers
  4. All equipment used will be cleaned before and after use
