Claire’s Story

I’ve been overweight all of my adult life. I’ve tried numerous fad diets and exercise plans. Nothing worked. If I lost 10 – 20 LBS, I would always put it back on, plus more. I began to believe that I was just meant to be overweight and I accepted that I would never be the size I always wished I could be.

After having my second child, I hit what I called my Rock Bottom. I didn’t even want to be seen in pictures and as a result, had no pictures of my kids and me. I would stay home because I was always too tired and had poor self-esteem. I never experienced the things I wanted to.

Then I heard about the St Thomas Health Club. I found out that to hire a personal trainer and receive a nutrition consult was affordable and worth every penny. I signed up that day and began my “transformation’.

The nutrition plan was very easy to follow and I never felt deprived. The exercise plan fit my hectic schedule too! I go to the gym 3 days a week and I have got into the routine of taking my kids for a walk every night before bed.

Since January, I have lost 43Lbs and have gone from a size 18 to a 10!!! Never in my whole life have I been this size! I have so much energy now and I am finally living the active life I’ve always wanted.

I have accomplished this all as a fulltime working mom of a now 2 ½ year old and 15 month old with a husband who works out of town.
